My boyfriend was Lucas Beineke for my school’s production of the Addams Family!! I was in Ensemble as per usual but I really wanted to draw us together in character.

Also fun little mini story, it was a few days before we started dating when this happened. Right when rehearsals started, our director was giving the ghosts directions. She said something along the lines of, “the ghosts are going to have mixed reactions; some of them don’t like Lucas, but some of them think maybe he’s alright!” Then she points to me and says, “you’re on team Lucas. You think he’s really cool and awesome. Maybe you’ll follow him around, try to get close to him, you really like Lucas.” And everyone else is laughing because my face is bright red and I can only manage to squeak out a little “ok!” My boyfriend can’t even look at me cause he’s blushing and laughing and it’s really awesome. Ok end of story.

I love my theatre club so much pretty much everyone in it is so awesome and lovely to be around /gen

wednesday addams,    you're only making this worse for yourself.

one thing about lucas is,  he has the tendency to talk,  and just talk           and talk until he can't anymore.   which usually means he talks himself into holes he can't seem to get himself out of.   he'll go in circles which ends up with either @2kiras very annoyed or looking like she wants to kill him           which isn't out of the normal for her facial expressions,  or lack-there-of.

though,  lucas has learned how to differentiate wednesday's moods and expressions via her deliveries based on the amount of time they spend together when he's not in his classes or studying for said classes. HE HAS LEARNED ALL OF THE LITTLE QUIRKS ABOUT HER THAT SEEM TO MAKE HER   ...   HER.   and on the opposite side of the spectrum,  he's learned all the things about her that seem to make her tick           things he tends to stray away from doing.   the occasional mouth breathing, stepping over sidewalk cracks,  and all the nonsensical talking,  just to name a few.

a frown delicately places itself over lucas's expression,  his eyebrows knit together           and his lips fall flat,   curving downward.   she seems the opposite of thrilled.   navigating this is going to be like trying to diffuse a bomb.   all because he doesn't know how to shut up.   an awkward laugh,  followed by a quiet,     “  sorry.  ”    he composes himself,  his hands anxiously balling and releasing at his sides as he takes a breath in.   he'd gotten himself wound up by trying to explain that the girl he was with was just from his class and there was nothing going on between them.   they were just studying,  but from his over explanation,  he could see how it would appear otherwise.     “  it's good to see you.  ”
